Kèr Kāsopmíh (/kəˑs/ /ˈopmɪ̞/ [point; time] [rigorous]) is a subtropical Town located in Tukrangzmaji County, Krièvlùji̊ La Provence, within the Dalandic Empire.

The name Kèr Kāsopmíh is derived from the Tauric language, as Kèr Kāsopmíh was founded by Bregèqtco Pritchardd Thomas, who was culturaly Tauric.

Climate

Kèr Kāsopmíh has a yearly average temperature of 29°C (84°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 33°C (91°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a warm 26°C (78°F). Kèr Kāsopmíh receives an average of 236 cm/y (92 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Kèr Kāsopmíh covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 1714 m (5623 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Kèr Kāsopmíh was founded durring the late 11th century, by Bregèqtco Pritchardd Thomas. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.

Kèr Kāsopmíh was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the late 11th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Kèr Kāsopmíh is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.

Kèr Kāsopmíh is buildings are built arround a single spacious baked earthen mainstreet which forms a counterclockwise spiral to give the town a over all circular shape. The town rests behind a thick wall made from clay bricks. The wall has all of the proper fortifications and is well made. Unfortuantly the nature of clay brick leaves it quite vulnerable to siege equipment, though the thickness of the wall lends it simmilar resistnace to a thinner hardrock wall. The town's millitarily questionable fortifications are visibly old, but also obviously maintained semi-regularly. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with ocasional mantance of the towns defences.

Kèr Kāsopmíh has a very calm atmosphere. People can be seen relaxing, scocilizing, and going about all manner of business other than the daily grind. Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line Kèr Kāsopmíh’s streets. In spite of this, quite a few people can be seen reading and the town has an abundance of libraries. It’s quite clear the community values education.

Cultural Notes

Kèr Kāsopmíh's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used embraces individualism and experimentation. It emerged as a movement against traditional, classical styles and sought to make buildings dynamic and fun while breaking the rules. The style incorporated elements of previous architectural styles in exaggerated and whimsical ways. Traditional, conservative leanings were void in this era, with most scholars of architecture agreeing it was a time of “anything goes.”.

Kèr Kāsopmíh's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves ritual combat to channel Necromancy energies of tier 1 via chanting.
